Breeding your Pals in Palworld is one of the essential features in the game as it allows you to get Pals with better passive skills that both can help you at the base and the fight against the high-level pals in the world. Usually, the Pals you will find in the world or after completing a dungeon will have about one great passive skill but if you breed two Pals with higher Passive Skills, you might get a Pal with two or even three high-level skills.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to breed Pals in Palworld.
How to Breed Pals in Palworld
Breeding your captured Pals will require several things that you must first get before starting the breeding process. The initial and most important thing that you first need to unlock and build at your base is a Mixed Farm structure. It is a breeding farm for your Pals and you will be able to unlock it at Level 19 for two Technology Points. After unlocking the Mixed Farm, build it using the following materials.
100x Wood
20x Stone
50x Fiber
Now, once you have the Mixed Farm built at your base, the next thing you want to do is to place two Pals, one male and one female in the Mixed Farm. It will start the breeding process and you will be able to witness the progress line for the egg. However, you will not get the egg even when the breeding process is complete. It will require a Cake for an egg to appear and continue the breeding process.
To get the cake, you will have to make it yourself in the Cooking Pot. It is unlocked at Level 17 for two technology points and built using 20x Wood, 15x Ingot, and 3x Flame Organ materials. Getting the Cooking Pot will let you make the Cake using the following ingredients.
5x Flour – Processed in Mill using Wheat.
8x Red Berries – Found everywhere on the island.
7x Milk – Obtained from Mozzarina at Ranch.
8x Egg – Obtained from Chikipi at Ranch.
2x Honey – Obtained from Beegarde at Ranch.
Almost all of the ingredients are mid-game so, it can take you some time before you get each of these items. Upon attaining all of the required ingredients, go to the Cooking Pot to make the Cake. Once you have the Cake in your inventory, go to the Mixed Farm and interact with a storage box outside of the fence of the Mixed Farm to place the cake.
The cake will be eaten by Pals immediately and the egg that has been bred will appear. Now, you will be able to take the egg to an Egg Incubator and place it to see what Pal with which passive skills you get. Keep in mind that if you use Pals with high-level skills, you will surely get a Pal with high-level passive skills.
