The world in Palworld is enriched with both minerals and organic resources that are essential for survival and progress in the game. One of the organic resources that players can get from day one in Palworld is Leather as it is used in several crafting recipes like saddles for specific Pals for mounting them and a feed bag that allows players to consume food items.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get Leather in Palworld.
How to Get Leather in Palworld
Leather can be obtained by a couple of methods in Palworld. The very first and initial method to get Leather is to catch or kill Pals that have Leather as skin and the second method is to buy it from various merchants on the island. Initially, all players will have to get their first Leather either by catching or killing a Pal that carries Leather. There are several Pals with Leather as skin that players will get to find as they explore the island.

A couple of early Pals that players will run into are Foxparks and Rushoar. The habitat areas for both of these Pals are large and can be killed or caught easily. Both killing and catching any of these Pals will grant Leather to players that they can use for crafting the necessary recipes.
Alternatively, players can buy the leather from merchants for 10 Gold Coins. As it is not an expensive material, if you have gold coins to spare then buy the amount of Leather you need instead of finding and killing Pals.
