How to Unlock Shadow of the Simurgh Ability in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
The Shadow of the Simurgh is the second Time Power that players will get to unlock after defeating the Alternate Sargon mini-boss during ‘The Tiger and The Rat’ main quest. It is the 3rd main quest of the main storyline which will take players into The Depths biome where they would have to chase after the Old Man who stole the prism eye of Sargon.
Go after the Old Man as he will take you deep into The Depths. There are several environmental obstacles along the path that you must cover using the Aerial Dash ability. Upon reaching the Wak-Wak tree deep in The Depths, you will get to encounter the Alternate Sargon.
It is the first encounter of Alternate Sargon in the main story that you must defeat to progress ahead. Upon defeating him, you will also unlock Arash’s Ray, one of the Athra Surge abilities. Proceed ahead into the next room to find a Feather of the Simurgh. Obtaining the Feather of the Simurgh will unlock the Shadow of the Simurgh Time Power.
The Shadow of the Simurgh Time Power will allow players to create a mark by pressing the LB/L1. Once the shadow is placed, pressing the LB/L1 button again will take Sargon to the crystallized Sargon performing all the actions along the way. However, you must shatter the previous crystallized shadow by holding the LB/L1 to create a new one.
