Enemies and the environmental traps in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown are ruthless and can leave you using the starting one Healing Potion at the initial stages of combat making it hard for you to survive for longer. However, players can increase the number of Healing Potions up to a total number of five throughout the adventure as well as upgrade them to increase their potency.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to upgrade and increase Healing Potions in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
How to Upgrade & Increase Healing Potions in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
All the players will start with one Healing Potion with base efficiency that has the potency to replenish three bars of health which is enough for the starting biomes of the game but as soon as players reach the Lower City, they should discover The Haven area within the Lower City. The Haven area acts as a safe hub in the game with various characters offering various services.
One of the characters, The Mage runs a shop in the middle of The Haven and offers several items and upgrades to the Healing Potions in return for Time Crystals. Talk to Mage to view her shop and then switch to the Upgrades tab to browse both the Additional Healing Potions and Potion Efficiency upgrades.
Purchasing each upgrade will enhance the respective upgrade of Healing Potion by one and the maximum number of times that players can get these upgrades is four. Meaning, that players can increase the Healing Potions four times which will allow them to carry 5 Healing Potions with a Potion Efficiency of +4.
Getting the Additional Healing Potions upgrade will cost 500 Time Crystals whereas, the Potion Efficiency upgrade will cost 250 Time Crystals. However, all four upgrades are not available at once as the game will require you to get the upgrades as you progress in the main storyline. You will have to come back to The Haven from time to time to see if further upgrades are available or not.
