A Rift in Time expansion of Disney Dreamlight Valley offers a new world beside Dreamlight Valley that players will get to discover and explore. This new world, Eternity Isle has three biomes each containing 4 separate areas offering unique crafting materials, ingredients, gems, and fish for players to get and add to the collection. One of the Rare Fish that players can find in Eternity Isle is the Pirarucu.
In this guide, we’ll go over where to find and catch Pirarucu in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Where to Find & Catch Pirarucu in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Pirarucu is exclusive to the A Rift in Time expansion therefore, only the players who own the expansion will be able to find and get the Pirarucu to add it to their fish collection. Players can find the Pirarucu in all of the areas of the Wild Tangle biome. It is the second/third biome of Eternity Isle that players will get to unlock while completing The Sands in Hourglass quest for Jafar.
The Wild Tangle biome is located on the east side of Eternity Isle and once players have unlocked the biome, they will reach the Grasslands area of the Wild Tangle biome. This area has a river flowing from which players can catch Pirarucu by fishing in the Blue Ripple. For the rest of the areas, players will have to use Mist to unlock them.
The Grove – Unlocked using 4,000 Mist.
The Promenade – Unlocked using 6,000 Mist.
The Lagoon – Unlocked using 10,000 Mist.
The Blue Ripples are rare and spawn less than the white/common ripples but players can spawn them quickly by fishing in the other available ripples. Once a Blue Ripple has appeared in the water, equip the Royal Fishing Rod, and cast the line inside the ripple to start catching Pirarucu.
Upon completing the fishing mini-game, players will catch Pirarucu which can be eaten to restore 1,250 Energy, used as an ingredient to cook food recipes, or sold at the Goofy’s Stall for 625 Star Coins.
