Spinel is one of the new Gems in Disney Dreamlight Valley introduced with the A Rift in Time expansion. It is an exclusive and valuable gem that can only be found in Eternity Isle, a brand-new world only accessible to the players who own the A Rift in Time Expansion.

Where to Find Spinel in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Spinel is obtained from mining the Black Rock deposits found inside the Wild Tangle biome of Eternity Isle. It is the second/third biome that players will get to reach after completing The Sands in Hourglass quest for Jafar.
The Wild Tangle biome is located on the east side of Eternity Isle and players can find Spinel in the following areas of the biome.
The Grove – Unlock using 4,000 Mist.
The Promenade – Unlock using 6,000 Mist.
Both of the areas hold multiple mining nodes from which players can get the Spinel. Simply equip the Royal Pickaxe and press the RMB on the mining nodes to mine them and obtain Spinel. Each mining node will have a chance of dropping either 1x Spinel or Shiny Spinel and if you are lucky, you might even hit a jackpot and get multiple Spinels at once.
It is better to bring along a villager with a Mining role to have a chance of getting more Spinels from mining. The selling price of Spinel is 450 Star Coins and Shiny Spinel is 1,800 Star Coins, and you can sell it at one of the Goofy’s Stalls both in Eternity Isle and Dreamlight Valley.
Spinel is also required for Rapunzel’s Level 2 Friendship Quest, The Housewarming in which she will ask to be a good neighbor to Capybaras for which you have to find a Spinel.
