Chilling First Trailer for Alex Garland’s ‘Civil War’ Sci-Fi Action Thriller

“What kind of American are you?” Here we go! A24 has unveiled the first official trailer for Alex Garland’s Civil War, his next highly anticipated action thriller movie arriving in theaters April 2024. This is the fourth film he has directed, following Ex Machina, Annihilation, and Men. The plot has been kept a secret for the entire production, with little details revealed now – mainly that it’s about a civil war in a near-future America. But this is from the sci-fi master Alex Garland, so there must be more implications and ideas here than just – this is what modern civil war will look like. The excellent ensemble cast for Garland’s Civil War film features Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura, Cailee Spaeny, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Karl Glusman, Sonoya Mizuno, Jonica T. Gibbs, and Jess Matney. This looks much more harrowing and intense than expected, way more of an actual depiction of what civil war would be like rather than anything with a message.
