Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time DLC has a brand-new world with three new biomes for players to unravel and explore their various areas. These new biomes hold several new items, ingredients, and crafting materials for players to gather as well as meet new critters that they can feed and befriend. One of the first new critters that players will find is Cobra as they reach the Eternity Isle.

In this guide, we’ll go over how to feed Cobras and their favorite food in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Feed Cobra in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Cobras are fast and cautious which requires you to approach gradually towards them only when their head is down. Approaching them while their head is up will make them swirl away and requires you to restart the process from the beginning. Their behavior is similar to Racoons which are also cautious in accepting the offering.

You can find the Cobras in the Glittering Dunes biome, the second/third biome of Eternity Isle. As you reach the Eternity Isle, you will start at the Docks area and you have to complete a few main story quests to fix the bridge to open up the path to Glittering Dunes and Wild Tangle biomes. Glittering Dunes is located on the west side of Eternity Isle where you will find various kinds of Cobra.

To feed the Cobra, you need to stand still and let them acknowledge you – when they lower their head, approach them gradually, and stop when they lift their head back up. Repeat the process until you get near them and press the E button. After that, select a food item from your inventory to feed them. However, if you want to befriend the Cobra, you need to feed its favorite food.

Favorite Food of Cobra in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The favorite food of Cobra in Disney Dreamlight Valley is Egg which can be bought from Remy’s Restaurant for 220 Star Coins. Cobras also love Scorpion and Worms which can be fished up from the blue fishing spot in the quicksand.

Buy a bunch of Eggs or fish up scorpions from the quicksand and then store them in your inventory to feed them to a Cobra to befriend the Cobra and unlock it as a companion. It will take 2 to 3 times before you unlock it as a companion. All Cobra types’ favorite food is Egg, so if you find any approach it with caution and feed it to befriend it.

All Cobra Types & Where to Find Them

There are 5 Cobra Types in Disney Dreamlight Valley and each can be found in a specific area of Glittering Dunes biome of Eternity Isle.

Classic Cobra – Found in The Plains area (All Day).

Blue and Red Striped Cobra – Found in The Wastes area (Specific Days)

Yellow and Purple Striped Cobra – Found in The Borderlands area (12 PM to 12 AM)

Green and White Striped Cobra – Found in The Borderlands area (Specific Days)

Pink Spotted Cobra – Found in The Oasis area (12 AM to 12 PM)

The Blue and Green Cobra types are the hardest to find as they are not available every day. You will have to continuously come back to The Wastes and The Borderlands areas every day (real life) to get lucky finding these types of Cobras.
