Jack Skellington is one of the new characters that can be unlocked and invited to your valley without purchasing any additional content like the first Expansion, A Rift in Time. It is a free character that any player with the base game can unlock and it is tied to a hidden quest named ‘Something Comes A’Knocking.’
In this guide, we’ll go over how you can unlock Jack Skellington in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Unlock Jack Skellington in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Unlocking Jack Skellington in Disney Dreamlight Valley requires players to complete the ‘Something Comes A’knocking’ quest. It is one of the new hidden quests and players can start the quest by finding and picking up a Matryoshka Doll found in the random biomes of the Valley.
However, these dolls will not spawn in the biomes until players unlock the Forgotten Lands biome in Dreamlight Valley. It will cost 15,000 Dreamlight to unlock the Forgotten Lands and once players have unlocked it, 4 Matryoshka Dolls will appear in the valley each one in the random biome.
For us, the dolls were located in the following biomes.
The Plaza
Peaceful Meadows
Forest of Valor
Sunlit Plateau
The dolls might spawn in Dazzle Beach, Glade of Trust, or Frosted Heights for you so, make sure to explore all of the biomes to get all 4 Matryoshka Dolls. Upon gathering all 4 dolls, go to the Forgotten Lands biome and find the tree with the Pumpkin symbol on it. For us, it was on the Northeast side of the biome.
Once you have found the tree, interact with it and place all 4 dolls inside the slot to unlock Jack Skellington. Welcome Jack Skellington to the valley and take a picture with him. After that, talk to Jack Skellington and place his house foundation somewhere in the valley to build his house by interacting with Scrooge’s sign costing 5,000 Star Coins.
