Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time DLC has a brand-new world with three new biomes for players to unravel and explore their various areas. These new biomes hold several new items, ingredients, and crafting materials for players to gather as well as meet new critters that they can feed and befriend. One of the first new critters that players will find is Monkey as they reach the Eternity Isle.
In this guide, we’ll go over how to feed monkeys and their favorite food in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Feed Monkey in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Monkeys are fast and like to play tag with you before you get to successfully approach and feed them. Their behavior is similar to foxes which requires you to chase them multiple times before they get tired and accept the offering. You can find the Monkeys in the Ancient’s Landing biome, the starting biome of Eternity Isle. As you reach the Eternity Isle, you will be able to find a Monkey or two running around in the Docks area. To feed the monkey, run after the monkey from place to place until they wear off and interact with them by pressing the E button. After that, select a food item from your inventory to feed them. However, if you want to befriend the Monkey, you need to feed its favorite food.
Favorite Food of Monkey in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The favorite food of Monkey in Disney Dreamlight Valley is any 5-star Food Recipe. You can cook several 5-star food recipes in Disney Dreamlight Valley and if you store a bunch in your inventory and feed it to a monkey, you will befriend the monkey and unlock it as a companion. All Monkey types’ favorite food is a 5-star food recipe so, if you find any type of monkey and you want to befriend it, just play tag a little with them and feed them the recipe.
