Rockstar Games confirmed the release year for Grand Theft Auto VI earlier today by revealing the trailer before the premiere time on their official YouTube Channel due to trailer leakage going viral on X. The trailer showcased the Year 2025 at the end which somewhat upset the fans as they would have to still wait for about 2 years to play it. However, the discussion about the platforms of GTA VI has been going on for quite some time and Rockstar Games confirmed the platforms by releasing a press on their official site. The confirmed platforms for GTA VI for now are XBOX Series X|S and PlayStation 5 as there is no mention of PC.

“Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet. Coming 2025 to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.”

If we look back into the release of games from Rockstar Games, they always took a year or two before they released the best version of the game to PC. It doesn’t mean that Rockstar Games would not consider releasing their most awaited game on PC as there is quite a big audience on that platform. However, it does feel like for now PC owners will have to wait 3 – 4 years to get their hands on Grand Theft Auto VI instead of 2 Years.
