Learning the basic mechanics will help you make progress throughout the day along with help in exploration around various areas of Azoria. However, at the end of the day, it is always important to save all of your progress to continue the adventure right from where you left the previous time.

How to Save in Fae Farm
Fae Farm offers both Auto-Save and Manual Save options but they activate after passing a certain milestone in the game. The Auto-Save feature only activates after completing a day in Azoria or completing a key moment such as completing the main quest regarding the story. On the other hand, Manual Save can be done at any time to save the current progress. However, players will not have access to the Manual Save feature until they have completed the first chapter of Fae Farm. During the first chapter, the only progress that will get saved is due to the Auto-Save feature which only happens to save the landing of your character on Azoria.
It is the very reason why most people are finding their progress lost as they exit the game without completing the first chapter of the game to get an Auto-Save at the start of the second chapter. The first chapter of the game is very brief and it only takes about 20 minutes to complete it. Upon completing the first chapter, players will also unlock the Manual Save option that they can use frequently at any time to save their current progress. To manually save your progress in the Fae Farm, follow the following steps.
Press the Escape button to open the menu.
Select the ‘Save’ option beside the ‘Settings’ option.
The save option in the menu is displayed with a Quill and an Ink icon that is hard to miss so, make sure to use it every time you catch a rare bug, mine rare ores, or complete a quest to never lose your progress.
