It has been a few months since the release of Baldur’s Gate 3 for both PC and PS5 but the XBOX players are still in wait to get their hands on the game. It has been discussed many times in the past about releasing Baldur’s Gate 3 for XBOX by the end of this year and it seems like, the time is drawing closer as Larian Studios will be doing a World Premiere of the exact date for Baldur’s Gate 3 for XBOX at the Game Awards Show.
Larian Studios themselves revealed this news on their official X (Twitter) account with the following tweet.
“Xbox players, we hear you’re looking for more news on Baldur’s Gate 3. The game is on track for a December release. We’ll see you at The Game Awards for the World Premiere of the exact release date.”
This Game Awards Show will be held in the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on December 7, 2023. XBOX fans who have been eagerly waiting for the release will be able to witness the exact date for Baldur’s Gate on the livestream. However, the Baldur’s Gate 3 on XBOX Series S will not have the Splitscreen Feature but the players who own the XBOX Series X will be able to use the splitscreen feature.
It is also the very main reason for the delay in the release of Baldur’s Gate 3 for XBOX because Microsoft didn’t give Larian Studios clearance to launch their game without solving the issue but eventually, they agreed to launch it with the exception of Splitscreen feature for the XBOX Series S holders.
