Remnant 2: How to Get the Ritualist Scythe

The Ritualist Scythe is one of the new weapons that has been added along with the new DLC, The Awakened King. It is a Melee Weapon exclusive to the owners of The Awakened King DLC and a perfect melee weapon for the new Ritualist Archetype. The Ritualist Scythe comes along with its own Mod called Reaver that increases the Melee Damage by 10% if the target is suffering from a Negative Status Effect which is all the time while playing as the Ritualist Archetype.

In this guide, we’ll go over how to get the Ritualist Scythe in Remnant 2.

How to Get the Ritualist Scythe in Remnant 2

Unlike other Archetypes’ unique weapons, the Ritualist Scythe requires some assembly to get the actual weapon. You will not get the Ritualist Scythe weapon as a whole as you will get it in two different weapon pieces, Scythe Blade and Scythe Hilt. Upon getting these, you will be able to assemble them together to make a Ritualist Scythe Melee Weapon.

Now, to get the pieces of the Ritualist Scythe weapon, you need to continue your journey of The Awakened King DLC until you reach the Forgotten Commune area. The area is filled with treacherous enemies such as Sewer Slugs. You need to progress through the area until you come across Blue Flaming Candles. Follow the path of the Blue Flaming Candles to come across a mound of tormented corpses. This mound of tormented corpses is a boss fight named Befouled Altar which will spawn waves of enemies until you destroy it. The best way to deal with it is to use a Melee DPS weapon to deal the maximum amount of damage. Once destroyed, you will get the Scythe Blade.

Keep on progressing ahead in the area and keep your eyes peeled on the next Blue Flaming Candles along the path. Follow them to reach the next altar and start dealing damage to it to destroy it to get the Scythe Hilt. You need to follow the same strategy as the first one to defeat it so, make sure that you are ready to deal with all of the waves.

After getting both of the Scythe weapon pieces, open the menu and inspect the Scythe Hilt. Rotate it until you see an interactive prompt. Interact with the Hilt and select the Scythe Blade to combine with the Hilt to assemble the Ritualist Scythe.
