What Are Skills?
Expanding on the rather silly intro (who wrote that?). Skills do offer passive or active abilities to classes. There are a ton of skills that pair with the different roles within For The Kings 2, and each class can have multiple skills within their arsenal. The game encyclopedia will list which skills are available for the classes, and you can locate them both from the title menu and in-game.
Skill List – They’re Even In Alphabetical Order!
Build Scarecrow – Enter each battle with a percentage chance to build a scarecrow on the front row.Called Shot – Increased chance for a perfect roll when skill is equipped with a bow.Cheers – Can inflict the alcohol effect on neighbors within combat.Distract – A chance to disturb an attack roll prepared for other party members by an enemy.Eager – Increased chance to act first in combat.Elite Ambush – This skill requires 1 free slot roll to unleash an ambush on a solo enemy. 2 free slots for enemy camps.Elite Sneak – This skill requires 2 free slot rolls to sneak a solo enemy. 3 free slots for enemy camps.Energy Boost – Increases skill holders’ chance to receive an action point after a turn.Eureka – High focus on leveling up.Find Alcohol – More likely to discover alcohol at the end of turns on land and within dungeons.Find Herb – More likely to discover herbs at the end of turns on land and within dungeons.Find Scroll – More likely to discover scrolls at the end of turns on land and within dungeons.Guard – Requires a shield but when active will pass on damage to an ally behind.Hardwork – When Last Focus is consumed in combat this skill provides an extra primary action.Herd – Increased chance for sheep to join your party at the end of a turn.Iron Belly – Can entirely dismiss debuffs provided by alcohol.Justice – When wielding a two-handed weapon the chance for splash damage to a perfect strike is increased.Make Potion – The skill holder has a chance of gaining a potion at the end of a turn on land or within a dungeon.Navigator – Navigators receive 2 additional movement points at the end of turns when on boats driving offroad or on the ocean.Nice Day – Increases the chance of overworld movement during sunny days.Party Heal – Chance to flood your allies with health during the conflict.Refocus – Can receive a focus point at the end of a turn on land or within a dungeon.Scout – Chance to reveal what lies ahead in the neighboring dungeon room.Smoke Flee – Can flee a combat tile and costs 1 less skill roll.Steadfast – Increased chance to dispel attack damage inflicted when a shield is equipped.Support Range – Can join ongoing combat from an additional hex away.Survey – A chance to discover a hidden POI.Tactics – Increases the chance to buff a combat tile that increases +5 attack power.
