Exploring the depths of Moria will venture you across various enemy strongholds and one of the difficult strongholds is the Orctown which is rich in terms of precious stones and gems. Defeating smaller Orcs is no different than goblins but defeating larger Orcs can be difficult as it can spawn a boss in the area as well. However, upon exploring the Orctown, you will see several Orkish Chests scattered around the area which require an Orc key to unlock.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get Orc Key in The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria.
How to Get Orc Key in The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria
Unlike the Ori’s Key, Orc Keys cannot be crafted at Forge requiring you to find the actual key. Fortunately, the Orc Keys can be found near every Orkish Chest you come across while exploring the Orctown. As you find an Orkish Chest, there will always be a wooden banner nearby. Orc enemies use these wooden banners a lot even inside their strongholds and destroying their banners will always drop a single Orc Key.
Usually, these banners are near every Orkish chest that you can quickly destroy to get the Orc Key to open the chest. However, sometimes there might be banners that are at a distance. So, explore the area first and destroy all of the orc banners to get the orc keys, and then start opening the Orkish Chests to get useful stones including Black Diamond which are necessary for progressing ahead in the main story.
Keep in mind that these banners do not respawn and you might have to wait for an orc horde to attack to destroy more banners to get orc keys.
