How to Craft Recipes in Ark: Survival Ascended
All the known recipes for various items will be listed in the Crafting Tab in your inventory. To craft the item, you need to open the inventory and select the Crafting Tab to select an item you want to craft. Selecting the item will start the crafting of the item and each item takes a certain amount of time. If you choose to craft more items, they will be added to the Craft Queue and crafted accordingly.
However, each recipe will require necessary materials to craft and you can see the required materials for each known recipe by hovering over it in the crafting menu. Make sure to gather all of the materials before you get to craft the recipe. All of the early items in the game can be crafted easily but as you make more progress in the game, you will be required to unlock more recipes.
Recipes are unlocked by learning Engram that is tied to the leveling of your character. As you level up the character, you will earn Engram Points which can be spent on recipes in unlocked Engrams’ Levels. Unlocked recipes will be added to the crafting menu in your inventory from where you will be able to craft them using the required materials.
