Traffic Lights is one of the Road Services in Cities: Skylines II that allows you to sustain a smooth traffic flow even within the downtown area of the city. Usually, the downtown has the highest traffic rate which can slow down the traffic and even accidents but with the traffic lights and Medium/Large Roads, you can control the flow of the traffic just fine. To place or remove the traffic lights on the roads in Cities: Skylines II, follow the following steps.
Select the Roads from the bottom of the screen.
Select the Road Services from the road types tab.
Select the Traffic Lights to equip it.
Now, hover over the end or start of the road and press the LMB to place the traffic lights or press the RMB to remove the placed traffic lights.
Back out of the menu to apply the changes.
Traffic Lights function automatically and help citizens reach their destinations safely and soundly. This road service is one of the smallest safety precautions that you can put in your dream city but this can heavily impact your city.
