We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip is the latest addition to the infamous puzzle-solving We Were Here series by Total Mayhem Games. Players will once again go on an adventure to solve the asymmetrical puzzles but this time, it will judge the friendship between the two players. Unlike the previous titles where players get to solve puzzles and uncover the story, We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip takes players to The Isle of FriendShip where they get tested on their friendship.
The Isle of Friendship puts players through 3 different trials which require different elements of friendship including communication, teamwork, and trust. All three of these trials are unique puzzles and do engage players to communicate with each other via using the Walkie Talkies or a 3rd party voice chat service. It is impossible to complete the puzzles on your own as there are two sides to every trial and each player has to solve one side to successfully progress through the trial.
Overall, the playtime of We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip is lower than the previous titles in the series. The first playthrough for any player can take up to roughly 2 – 3 hours whereas, the players who have completed the game once and going for the 100% completion by achieving all the trophies can complete in 1 – 11/2 hour. It is because the world is not dynamic in We Were Here Expeditions like it was in the previous titles and the moment players completed the trial, they will be taken ahead on their boat to the next trial.
So, the game just put you in a linear direction which makes it a short but tempting adventure especially, for the fans of We Were Here series.
