As the news was confirmed that there are mounts in the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, players will be able to learn how to tame the mounts to get around the areas quickly. However, you would still have to tame it first in order to ride the mount. There are two types of mounts in the game, one is the regular mount and the other is the flying mount.

How to Tame Mounts in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
By the time you reach Planet Koboh, you will see a number of flying creatures and land creatures near the Rambler’s Reach Outpost. You will not be able to tame them until you have learned the charm of how to tame the mounts. In order to learn the charm, you will have to progress in the main story of the game which is not very far in the game. Once you have found the Module for the Mantis, you will unlock the mission to get to Forest Array.
As you reach the Forest Array, you will be required to go to the top of a tower. In order to do that, you will get to learn the charm of taming mounts. To tame the mounts in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, follow the following steps.
- You need to approach slowly to the creature so that they stay still in their position.
- After getting close to them, you need to press the R1 (PlayStation) or RB (XBOX) to tame the mount.
- Once the mount is tamed, you just need to interact with it to ride it.
How to Ride Flying Mounts in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Once you have tamed a flying creature, it will start flying at its position. You will not get the option to interact with it because you can’t get on its back to ride the flying mount. You will have to jump underneath the flying mount so that it will catch you with its claws. By doing that, you will get the control of the flying mount. The flying mount will get you from Point A to Point B very quickly.
How to Ride Ground Mounts in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Once you have tamed a ground creature, you will get the option to ride it. You need to press the interaction button which is R3 on PlayStation and RS on XBOX. By doing that, Cal will ride the ground mount and get to control it. However, ground mounts are also required to get to the places that you can’t on your own. If you are facing a slope on which you cannot go then you will have to ride a mount in order to go up the slope.
You can also make the Ground Mounts go faster by simply pressing the L3 Button (PlayStation) or LS Button (XBOX). You can jump over the obstacles by pressing the X (PlayStation) or A (XBOX) to get to the required location.
