While the state of Florida has opened up again for business there are some attractions that are open and some that are not. Just in case you live in the area or visiting South Florida, here are a few places that are open for business and you can visit.
1. Lion Country Safari
Lion Country Safari in West Palm Beach is open. The Drive-Thru Safari is open daily and the good thing is you and your family get to stay inside your vehicle while you view the animals. You are allowed to bring your own food and there are outdoors seating areas where you can sit and eat. The Lion Country Safari prefers that guests buy their tickets in advance online to reduce the risk of contact. Click here to read my post A Day Trip to Lion Country Safari.
2. Boomers
Boomers located in Boca Raton is also open for business. There are a lot of things you can do here such as go-karts, mini-golfing, laser tag, and more. No food is allowed but they do have a concession/dining area for guests to buy food and to sit and eat.
3. Flamingo Gardens
Flamingo Gardens in Davie is up and running and it’s a great place to learn about different plants species, observe the beautiful coral or “pink” flamingos. Due to limitation on entry they are requesting that you purchase your tickets online in advance. Click here to find out about an Insight into Flamingo Gardens.
4. Hollywood Beach and Boardwalk
A lot of beaches around are open but I specifically pointed out Hollywood Beach and Boardwalk because one, it’s close to many hotels and resorts, two, there are restaurants and shops along the boardwalk where you can sit, grab a bite, and people watch
